Hancock Man Accused of Stealing Timber

A Hancock man is guilty of stealing thousands of dollars worth of timber from a vacant parcel of land on Peas Eddy Road.

67 year old Wilford Toler was charged with felony grand larceny and criminal mischief.

Authorities said the wood was worth $5,900.

Toler face a possible sentence of two to seven years in jail.
