The Susquehanna County District Attorney’s office says a Hallstead woman has been found guilty of murder, robbery and conspiracy in the death of 26 year old Roy Marvin in February of 2015.

28 year old Sarah Briggs was charged along with 26 year old Jerry Mast in the stabbing of the Hallstead man in what was said to be an argument over methamphetamine.

Marvin’s body was found rolled down an embankment near the Susquehanna River in Great Bend by an Environmental Conservation Officer.

Earlier this week Mast, who earlier had pleaded guilty to murder, testified that he stabbed Marvin with a folding pocket knife but Briggs had gotten a kitchen knife from her sister’s home and stabbed Marvin in the chest.

Experts said Marvin had been stabbed 29 times and bled to death.
