The Oakdale Mall unveiled the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame temporary display September 10.  The display is on the outer wall of the area where the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier has their gallery and located on the left side of the mall entrance to Macy's.

On display are the award plaques for each of the 1st Class of Honorees who were inducted in April of this year.  The Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame at the Oakdale Mall enables thousands of shoppers and visitors to see and experience the history of those who have been inducted.

Along with the opening of the hall, proceeds from the dinner honoring the inductees in April were donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton and Western Broome.  Anthony Quagliata, President of AJQ Sports Management & Marketing and  Chairman of the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame, presented checks for one thousand dollars to each organization.

The Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame is asking the public for suggestions and nominations for future inductees.  Information on how to do this is available at: www.AJQSports.com.
