BGM has set up an online survey trying to get more information from businesses and business travelers in the region who either fly or drive to Washington D.C.  Currently the airport has only one commercial airline, Delta, using the facility in the Town of Maine.

The survey asks about a half dozen questions including the type of business, how many times its travelers fly out of Binghamton and what kind of services are desired.

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and others have been working to secure funding for airport improvements and other incentives to try to attract new carriers to the facility as well as to encourages travelers to fly in and out of Broome County instead of driving to other hubs like Syracuse and Elmira or even the Scranton area.
