Goydos Returns to Defend Dick’s Open Crown
Paul Goydos is set to return and defend his Dick's Sporting Goods Open crown next month. This year's tournament is scheduled for August 14-20 at En Joie Golf Course in Endicott.
Goydos earned his third PGA Tour Champions title at En Joie last summer with a 14-under par 202 total...two shots better than Wes Short, Jr. Goydos fired a round of 69 to keep Short, Jr. and the rest of the pack at bay.
Those committed to play in this year's Dick's Open along with Goydos include four of the top five money winners on the Schwab Cup money list including 2014 Dick's Open champion Bernhard Langer. Langer tops this year's list with over two million dollars in earnings. Jose Maria Olazabal will make his first Champions Tour appearance at En Joie along with another international star Miguel Angel Martin.
