Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is elaborating on what it means for businesses to reopen in counties that are going into the Green Phase.

Bradford is one of those counties in Northeast Pennsylvania that has been cleared to further ease the stay-at-home restrictions put into place weeks ago in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Wolf says as of 12:01 a.m. May 29, the stay-at-home orders are replaced with allowances for in-person operations.

In response to frequently asked questions, the Governor’s office says hair salons and barber shops must operate by appointment only and appointments or reservations are strongly encouraged for gyms and spas.

Any gathering for a planned or spontaneous event of more than 250 people is still prohibited, including concerts, festivals, fairs, movies and conferences.

Religious gatherings are excluded from limitations but are encouraged to enforce social distancing.

Visitations to prisons and hospitals may resume subject to the discretion of the facility. Visitors who interact with residents and patients must be diligent regarding hygiene and restrictions on visits to high-risk areas like nursing homes will initially remain in place.
