The 13th Annual Garlic Fest is set for Saturday at the American Civic Association, 131 Front Street in Binghamton.  The event gets underway at 11 AM and goes until 6 PM. Close to 40 vendors are expected to have displays with many selling various types of garlic.

Many people bring paper and plastic bags to carry home after they purchase different garlic types.  Inside the American Civic Association visitors can purchase all kinds of ethnic food and yes even garlic sausage and ice cream !

Ethnic dancers will perform and there will be art exhibits on display as well.  WNBF's Roger Neel will broadcast live from the Garlic Festival from 11 AM - 1 PM.  The admission charge is $3.00 per adult and $1.50 for children under 13.
