The National Weather Service May 25th has put out a frost advisory in effect from 2:00 a.m.  to 9:00 a.m. May 26 and a freeze watch for late Sunday night through Monday morning.

Officials were expecting Saturday overnight temperatures to range from 32-38 degrees. NOAA says the coldest readings were expected Sunday night into Monday morning, dropping into the 28 to 35 degree range.

Residents, many of whom were planning on planting tomatoes and other tender vegetation over the Memorial Day holiday were being told to cover outdoor plans since the cold conditions cold kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
