The owners of the Red Robin Diner on Main Street in Johnson City are looking for someone to buy the property.

The diner - which had been a fixture in the village business district for more than six decades - closed early this year.

Jon Bowie operated the business under an arrangement with the property owners for about 13 years. The diner had been struggling over the past year during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The site has just been listed for sale with an asking price of $269,000.

Real estate agent John Farrell said he's shown the property several times but there have been no offers.

The diner building has been located at Main and Broad streets in Johnson City since November 1959.

Before that, the eatery had operated on Conklin Avenue in Binghamton near the Washington Street bridge. The diner was moved to Johnson City on June 30, 1959.
