Five people are accused of manufacturing methamphetamine in a Johnson City home.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant February 1 at Saint Charles Street and arrested 38 year old Jamie Beers, 19 year old Bailey Waldron 30 year old William Courtney and 53 year old Victor Negron.. all of Johnson City and 24 year old Jack Parmelee of Binghamton on felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of meth.

Beers, Waldron and Negron are also charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia while Beers and Waldron were also wanted for parole or probation violations.

The New York State Police hazardous response team was called in to render the address safe from the dangerous materials used in making methamphetamine.

Police say the five were found to be in possession of more than two ounces of meth while packaging materials and items common to the sale and distribution of drugs were also found.
