Seniors have until April 18 to register for two free Savvy Saving Senior workshops.

The April 23rd and 25th sessions at the Broome West Senior Center and Broome County Public Library will help residents with tips and tricks to stretch their income.

The Broome County Office for Aging says many older adults living on fixed incomes can find making ends meet a challenge.  The workshops will provide information on benefits to help in paying bills, ways to save money, setting financial goals, budget busters, the benefits of banking and more.

Participants will receive a free financial education handbook.

The workshop at the West Senior Center in Endwell on the 23rd is from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  The session in the Decker Room at the Library April 25th is scheduled for 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Call (607) 778-2411 to register.
