Authorities say 39-year-old Christopher McMahon was charged after another man reported damage to a window on his vehicle.

According to a news release issued Tuesday by New York State Police, McMahon was arrested around 12:40 p.m. August 15.

Investigators say the incident happened as the two men were driving on Chenango Street in Hillcrest.

McMahon allegedly hurled something at the other vehicle. Police did not identify the object that damaged the vehicle's window.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

McMahon was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Police issued appearance tickets to McMahon. He is to appear in Fenton town court Thursday.
