New York State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a car and two motorcycles in the Town of Triangle.

Troopers say 49-year-old motorcyclist Shane Poklemba of Endwell was killed when his bike was hit, head-on by a car driven by 21-year-old Kimberly Burdick of Whitney Point as she was attempting to pass two westbound vehicles on State Highway 206 at around 5:30 Friday evening.

Another motorcycle was able to take evasive action with that rider suffering non-life-threatening injuries as he was able to lay his bike down.

Neither Burdick nor her infant and two-year-old child suffered injury.

State Police say the investigation is on-going but alcohol is not believed to have been an contributing factor in the crash.
