Family & Children’s Society Expanding and Changing Name
Family & Children’s Society is building a new center for its newly renamed operation as Family & Children’s Counseling Service.
This week, Broome County officials announced construction will begin this summer for a $5-million facility connected to the current building at 257 Main Street in Binghamton.
$600,000 in funding is coming from New York State, Broome County and the City of Binghamton for the project.
The agency is building a new, 9,000 square foot, two-story building adjacent to its current facility to help provide behavioral, addiction and mental health services.
