Equinunk Man Accused of Dealing Drugs Near Hancock Schools

A Wayne County, Pennsylvania man is accused of peddling heroin laced with deadly Fentanyl near the Hancock Central School grounds in Delaware County, New York.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say 21-year-old Tyler Chapman of Equinunk was arrested June 2 by New York State Police on a sealed indictment and turned over to Deputies.

Under the indictment, Chapman is charged with two felony counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance on or near school grounds.

Authorities say the alleged sales happened within one-thousand feet of the school grounds this past March on two separate occasions.

Chapman was sent to the Delaware County Jail without bail.
