An Endwell man is looking at a possible October trial for allegedly sexually abusing a teenager almost three years ago after rejecting a plea deal offered by the Broome County District Attorney’s office.

Forty-year-old Scott Fredenberg could have been sent for prison for three years instead of the possible maximum of 25 years had he accepted a plea to felony sexual abuse. Under his indictment, Fredenberg is charged with felony rape sexual abuse and criminal sexual act.

Prosecutors accuse Frendenberg of having oral sexual contact with a 13 girl in October of 2015 and forcible sex with the child in January 2016 in the Village of Endicott.
