Endwell Comedian Erica Spera to Perform on The Late Late Show
Erica Spera, a comedian from Endwell, New York, has announced that she will be performing on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday night.
Her standup comedy performance can be seen at 12:37 am on CBS or if you're like me and there's a negative 100% chance that you'll be awake that late, you can watch it on YouTube as well.
According to her website, Spera hosts comedy shows throughout Upstate New York, hosts a show every Friday at Halyard's Bar in Brooklyn, frequents a number of well-known New York comedy clubs, and has opened for Patton Oswalt, Judah Friedlander and Tim Meadows. She was also named a 2017 TBS Comics to Watch and made appearances on TLC's Cake Boss and Gotham Comedy Live.
Spera also hosts a podcast called "Shooters Gotta Shoot" and is the producer of 607 Comedy.
It's good to see Binghamton has such a strong comedy scene. Going to see standup shows was one of my favorite things to do when I was still back home. And full disclosure, it was a slight disappointment that I wouldn't have that option as readily available after moving to Binghamton. But now I have nothing to worry about because a comic from Binghamton is taking over the standup scene in New York and will be representing the city on national television. Now I just need to figure out a way to balance the schedule of going to comedy shows with the schedule of hosting a show that starts at 6 am.
And if you're looking for a preview of what you might expect from one of the 607's finest, take a look.
