Vestal police have made two arrests in connection with their investigation into a report of shots being fired at a town business.

Authorities say 23-year-old Adam Lord and 20-year-old Kyle Meese are believed to have been involved in the incident at Matthews Kia and Subaru at 3013 Vestal Road.

Police were called to the business around 7:20 a.m. Monday. Witnesses told officers a passenger in a black Volkswagen fired what appeared to be a handgun toward a window at the car dealership.

Investigators determined damage to a window on the east side of the building was caused by a BB or a pellet-like projectile.

Detectives tracked the movements of the suspects to the nearby Walmart store, where they allegedly committed several larcenies.

Police say the Endicott men have been charged with felony counts of criminal mischief and grand larceny. They also each face a count of reckless endangerment.

Lord and Meese were arraigned in Vestal town court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
