Ellenville Residents Arrested for Drug Possession

Officials with the Cortland county Drug Task Force say two people were arrested during a drug investigation March 20 on Clinton Avenue in the City of  Cortland.

Shortly after the initial action, authorities moved in to a location on Route 11 in the Town of Cortlandville at around 5:15 p.m. where they arrested 34 year old Shawn Richardson and 22 year old Tori Gaeta, both of Ellenville, during a traffic stop.

The pair is charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Authorities say they recovered 250 packets of heroin and over $1,300 cash.

Both Gaeta and Richardson were sent to the Cortland County Jail.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department, Cortland City Police and the New York State Police.
