While many eyes and ears will be focused on the Major League All-Star Game tonight in San Diego Eastern League fans will be paying lots of attention to Canal Park in Akron, Ohio, the site of tomorrow night's Eastern League All-Star Classic. The game begins at 7:05 PM but there are plenty of festivities well before tomorrow night.

Tonight, there will be a Celebrity All-Star game held at Canal Park as well as the Eastern League's own Home Run Derby.  The league with the exception of the All-Stars is taking a three-day break.

Three Binghamton Mets are set for action as members of the Eastern Division All-Stars.  Matt Oberste and pitchers Tyler Pill and Logan Taylor are ready for duty.  Two other B-Met standouts saw action in the Futures Game in San Diego as part of the Major League festivities.  Dom Smith and Amed Rosario took part in the Sunday game which showcases top prospects who are working their way up the ranks waiting to make their mark in the Major Leagues.
