Early Season Boat Crash on Cayuga Lake Leaves Two Injured
New York State Police say two men are being treated for injuries after the boat they were in on Cayuga Lake was rear-ended by another boat.
Troopers and the Ithaca Fire Department responded to Myers Park in the Town of Lansing at around 1:11 p.m. April 14 and were able to get the injured boaters back to shore using their own craft.
A 65-year-old man was taken to a landing zone and then airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse while a 72-year-old man in the same boat was taken by ambulance to Cayuga Medical Center.

A 61-year-old and a 69-year-old in the other boat were not hurt.
The investigation into the collision is continuing.
