The AHL team donated over six barrels of food to CHOW that were collected during the Put the Biscuit in the Basket food drive November 28 through December 13, totaling 1,415 pounds.

The director of the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse, Jack Seman says the donation means many individuals won’t have to face hunger during the holidays.  The donation is being distributed throughout Broome County.

Meanwhile, many areas have CHOW barrels set up to collect donations of non-perishable foods.  Many Weis supermarket locations have the blue barrels available inside their entrances.
