Devils Last Stand this Weekend
The Binghamton Devils have three more games to go this season including a home game on Saturday evening against Laval Rocket at 7:05. On Friday evening the Devils travel to Rochester to face the Americans and they play a road game on Sunday afternoon at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to close out the season.
The Devils will not make the playoffs. Coming into this weekend the Devils record is 27-40-0-0 for 60 points which is last in the North. Saturday's home opponents from Laval are one place up on Binghamton with a record of 29-32-6-6 for 70 points. They will also miss the playoffs.
Saturday is a big day for area sports fans. It is being billed as a "Downtown Doubleheader". The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are home to host Erie at 2:05 P.M followed by the Devils game at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05 P.M. The Rumble Ponies will sign autographs in the arena concourse from 6-7 P.M. A special ticket price of $20 per adult covers entry into both games.
