The Discovery Center in Binghamton will be holding some fundraising events that will provide some fun and enjoyment while helping the Center with operations.

I spoke with Mallory Evans, Development Director for the Discovery Center on WNBF's First News Binghamton Tuesday morning, about the upcoming fundraisers and how the public can participate.

The first will be this Saturday from Noon to 5p, Mountain Top Grove will be bringing their Clam Stop food truck to Binghamton Fluorescent located at 225 Main Street, enjoy clams shrimp, steak sandwiches, hamburgers and more. You can order in advance or order at the location on Saturday.

Evans said the Center was shut down for a while but reopened in late July with re-opening of the museum, but they have been running their childcare program, now running all day, Mallory said its amazing to see how well the staff have adapted so quickly to provide that care.
