Delaware County Man Accused of Forcibly Touching a Child

A Delaware County man is accused of forcibly touching the intimate parts of a child.

Sheriff Craig DuMond says 21-year-old Shawn Zimmerman of Gloversville was arrested August 2 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and forcible touching.

The Sheriff says it’s alleged over the past two years Zimmerman inappropriately touched the private parts of a juvenile girl while at a home in the Village of Stamford.

Zimmerman was issued a temporary order of protection prohibiting him from having contact wit the child before he was released under the New York State Bail Reform Law.
