Crime Victims' Rights Week is being observed in the region starting March 31.

Speaking on the April 1 edition of the weekly local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up, Crime Victims Assistance Center Executive Director Raini Baudendistel talks about events happening for the week as well as crime trends in the region.

A major highlight of Victims' Rights Week is the display of the Remembrance Wall at the Oakdale Mall.

A tribute will be held for all victims and survivors of crime April 4 at Otsiningo Park with events capping off with the annual Victim Rights Breakfast on April 7.
