Authorities say Megan McQueen of Rosewood Drive, Conklin, was arrested on Wednesday.

According to Johnson City police, McQueen was charged with three counts of second-degree forgery and three counts of first-degree identity theft. She also was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Detectives say McQueen's arrest followed a nearly-two-month-long investigation. They say the woman is accused of taking the credit card that belonged to an elderly resident.

Investigators say McQueen is alleged to have purchased $1,626 worth of items from a local business. The name of the retail establishment was not released.

McQueen was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
