The Deputy reported Gurney had blood on his hands he claimed had come from his “dead girlfriend."  Authorities say they determined Gurney was under the influence of drugs and found his girlfriend at a home about a mile away with serious injuries to her face.  She declined medical treatment.

Gurney is charged with felony assault, misdemeanor resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
