Conklin Fair Celebrates 50 Years
The Conklin Fair is planning to mark a milestone opening for its 50th year this week.
There will be ride specials, fireworks, live music and other attractions Thursday, July 15 through Saturday, July 17 at the Maine Community Center and Fairgrounds.

The gates open Thursday and Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m. and the fair closes at 10 each night. The fireworks will close the fair at 10 on Saturday night.
Parking is free and many of the food tents are operated by local charities and non-profit organizations.

The official website: conklinfair.com says the fairgrounds will be open regardless of the weather but rides may have to shut down in inclement conditions.
