The level of high technology is creating another opportunity for middle and high schoolers in New York State with a tech challenge from Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.

According to a news release from Claudia Tenney’s Office, the congresswomen will be hosting this years congressional App Challenge.

The program gives middle and high school students as chance to work as a team to create and develop a software application to be used on tablets or computer devices

The challenge was created in 2015 and allows students not only from New York State but around the country the opportunity to show off their creative tech skills

The release states that the Tenney’s App competition is open to middle and high school students living in the 22nd congressional district of New York State.

Students entering the app competition can work in teams up to four students, or as individuals, and must submit their app entries no later than 5pm on November 1, 2021.

In the release Tenney states that the 22nd district is among the award winning schools in cutting edge research within our colleges and universities.

Tenney said “I encourage all middle and high school students in NY-22 to take this opportunity to learn more about coding and working with a team to develop an app."
