One of the region's landmarks has opened for the late summer and fall seasons.  The Cider Mill at 2  Nanticoke Avenue in Endicott opened on Thursday at 7 AM and is open every day from 7 AM - 6 PM through the end of November.

Several generations of area residents have enjoyed the tastes and aromas found at the Cider Mill.  The Cider Mill opened in 1926 and has been owned by the Ciotoli family since 1942.

A large line of people was waiting to enter on Thursday morning for their first treats of the season from the Cider Mill.  Their cake-batter doughnuts are legendary.  Their cider is made right on location.  Other popular items include candy apples, pies, cookies, cheddar cheese, various jams and jellies and of course fresh-pressed apple cider.  They also have an assortment of seasonal produce available.

The Cider Mill provides educational opportunities as well.  Thousands of students from schools all around the area visit each year to see how cider is made and learn about the various apples used in the cider-making process.
