One of this area's most popular places to visit every Fall is the Cider Mill, 2 Nanticoke Avenue in Endicott.  Yesterday (Sunday) the Cider Mill held its first ever Family Day.  The festivities and the cider, donuts, apples and other delights brought hundreds of visitors out to enjoy the day.

Many parents and grandparents brought children with them and they enjoyed the many activities.  There was a dunk tank, coloring contest and plenty of treats.

Many families visited the apples and produce display and then made their way inside where dozens of fresh donuts and cider was waiting to be purchased.  Youngsters picked among favorites like candy apples, jumbo cookies and cinnamon, powdered sugar and cake donuts.

Visitors had the chance to watch as the donuts were made and also were able to take in the process of pressing apples to make cider.  A special treat awaited those who watched cider being made.  Samples of the freshly made cider were made available to those who wanted to savor the taste of  cider just seconds old.

The Cider Mill is open seven days a week from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M. at 2 Nanticoke Avenue in Endicott.  Additional information and history of the Cider Mill can be found online at:
