The Binghamton Bearcats wrestling team defeated the Bloomsburg State Huskies on Sunday afternoon 21-12 in a dual match at West Gym in Vestal.  The win ups Binghamton's dual match record to 11-5.  Bloomsburg falls to 5-9.

The Bearcats got standout efforts across the board with dominating efforts from 165 pound Vincent DePrez and 184 pound Steve Schneider.  DePrez, ranked 28th in the nation, won a major decision while Schneider, ranked ninth in the nation, piled up a 19-3 technical fall. Schneider won his 11th consecutive match and upped his career win total to 101 for the Bearcats.

The victory over Bloomsburg completed a successful weekend for the Bearcats.  Binghamton downed Northern Illinois 35-0 on Friday night.  The Bearcats close out their dual match season at the University at Buffalo on Thursday night.
