The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team crushed the UMass Lowell River Hawks 76-46 on Sunday afternoon at Costello Gymnasium in Lowell.  The win puts Binghamton's America East record at 3-3 and overall slate at 12-7.  The River Hawks remain without a win in conference play at 0-6 and fall to 3-16 overall.

Another game...another record breaking performance for Alyssa James.  James, who just broke the America East record for blocked shots in a career, broke Binghamton's school record  of 236 career blocks that was held by current Associate Head Coach Leah Truncale Bowers.  James notched number 237 late in the game to establish a new record and still has much of the conference schedule ahead.

Imani Watkins paced the offense again with 33 points.  Watkins leads America East in scoring averaging 21.4 points per game. That ties her for 13th in the nation among Division I athletes.

Linda Cimino's Bearcats return to action on Wednesday night at 7 PM when they host the UMBC Retrievers at the Events Center.  The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM with Jonny Wincott beginning at 6:45 PM.
