BU Basketball Road Show Saturday

Both Binghamton Bearcats basketball teams are on the road today and tonight (Saturday).  The BU men start things off with a 4 PM (Eastern) tipoff at Evansville, Indiana.  The women follow at 930 (Eastern) tonight at Southern Utah.

The BU men enter their game at Evansville after dropping a 69-57 decision at George Mason in Fairfax, Virginia on Thursday night.  The Purple Aces are members of the Missouri Valley Conference and are 3-0.  Evansville is led by guard Ryan Taylor who is averaging 23 points per game.

Binghamton's Thomas Bruce has been the top gun for the Bearcats averaging 17 points per game and adding 10.3 rebounds per outing.

The BU women meet Southern Utah out of the Big Sky Conference.  Southern Utah is 0-2 while the Bearcats are coming off of a home court win over Penn on Wednesday night.

Both games can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF with coverage beginning 15 minutes before tipoff.
