Broome County Executive Jason Garnar says under Governor Andrew Cuomo’s new Shared Service Property Tax Savings Plan, he will be meeting with all of the municipalities and school districts in the County to talk about ways to save money.

A public meeting is set for April 20 at the Broome County Library in the City of Binghamton from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Executive’s office says the main panel will be made up of the Mayors or Supervisors from each city, town and village in the county as well as representatives from school districts.

The County’s plan, once approved, will be presented to the public in September.
