
Broome Sheriff’s Office Looks for Missing Whitney Point Man
Broome County Sheriff’s officials are asking for help in locating a missing at-risk adult.
Authorities say 34-year-old Matthew Phillips was last seen Saturday, October 24 at 6 a.m. when he left his home on Pendell Hill Road in Whitney Point on a small BMX-style bicycle. The bike was found along Route 26 near Swan Hill Road.

Phillips suffers from Schizophrenia. He is white, stands five-feet, nine-inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He may be wearing a brown Carhart-style coat and be carrying a black backpack.
