One of the two suspects arrested for the robbery of the Kwik Fill gas station in Port Crane last week is now also charged with another of the three robberies on October 20 and 22.

Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives and the New York State Police have now arrested 24-year-old Ruslan Opatskyy of Binghamton for the October 22 robbery at the Mirabito Gas Station on Old Route 17 in the Town of Windsor.

Authorities are still investigating the armed robbery on October 20 of the Runway Food Mart on Martin Hill Road in Colesville.

Over the weekend, authorities arrested Opatskyy along with 21-year-old Catherine Boyea-Kaninsky of Port Crane in the first armed robbery.  The Runway Mart was held up several hours after the Kwik Fill heist.

The Mirabito was robbed, October 22 when an employee taking out trash was forced back into the store at gunpoint and Opatskyy allegedly emptied the cash register.

In all the robberies, a gun and a knife were displayed.
