Broome County United Way Gets New Director

The United Way of Broome County has a new Executive Director.

Last week, the agency, which supports dozens of non-profit agencies and programs in the region, announced Jacqueline Gerchman has been tapped to lead the organization.

Gerchman is a lifelong resident of Broome County and has served in leadership roles in local non-profit, government and private sectors.  Most recently she was the Deputy Nursing Home Administrator-Fiscal Services in the Broome County Executive’s administration.

She begins her work as United Way Executive Director at the end of this month.
