Broome County Jury Deliberates in Weapons Trial
Delberations are underway in the trial of a Broome County man accused in the biggest weapons raid in recent memory.
Ramadan Abdullah faces numerous counts after dozens of weapons and rounds of ammunition in a storage shed and several properties associated with Abdullah.
The man’s defense lawyer is claiming racial profiling. Lawyer Matthew Ryan maintains Abdullah is an avid, competitive hunter, a member of the National Rifle Association and was not stockpiling weapons.
Assistant District Attorney Peter DeLucia says many of Abdullah’s weapons were unlicensed.
