This list of arrests and charges is from the Broome County Sheriff's report on March 18, 2026. Activities and arrests are listed below. Persons accused of any crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Criminal Possession

Starting this week's report, Tony Starke was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, following a narcotics investigation in the City of Binghamton.

Following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton, Elyis Ellsworth from Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, along with multiple traffic violations.

Promoting Prison Contraband

After a contraband investigation at the Broome County Correctional Facility, Tonya Sanders was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree and Tampering With Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony.

Rape In The 3rd Degree

25-year-old Samuel Harris was charged with two counts of Rape in the 3rd Degree, and Child Endangerment, following a rape investigation in the Town of Dickinson.

Burglary

Sean Shurtleff from the Town of Chenango was charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, following a burglary investigation in the Town of Barker.

Criminal Contempt

Following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the Broome County Correctional Facility, Damien Gibson of Binghamton was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree.

Caleb Morelock of Johnson City was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, following an investigation into an order of protection violation at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Also charged with Criminal Contempt was William Dayton of Binghamton, following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Criminal Mischief

18-year-old Isaiah Peterson from Binghamton was charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, following an investigation into criminal mischief at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Aggravated Family Offense

Also in the Broome County Correctional Facility, Eric Rivera, Jr. of Binghamton was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, following a harassment investigation.

Petit Larceny

In this week's Broome County Sheriff report, Ashley Ingram was charged with five counts of Petit Larceny and five counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree, following a larceny investigation in the Town of Conklin.

False Impersonation

As a result of a warrant execution in the Town of Maine, Brittney Hall from Harpursville,  was charged with False Personation, following a warrant execution in the Town of Maine.

Tresspassing

Richard Stafford, III, was charged with Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree, following a trespassing investigation in the Town of Chenango.

Harassment

Following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Union, Rose Wahl, of Endicott, NY, was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree.

Multiple traffic Violations

Camlyn Lyons from Binghamton was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.

51-year-old Stephen Brown of Binghamton was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the Town of Dickinson.

Cameron Gregory from the City of Binghamton was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in Binghamton.
