Broome Adjusts DMV Satellite Office Hours
Starting Monday, June 6, Broome County’s Department of Motor Vehicle Satellite Offices will have updated days of operation.
The site at the Northern Broome Senior Center in Whitney Point will be open Mondays and Fridays, the Eastern Broome Senior Center in Harpursville on Tuesdays, Conklin Town Hall on Wednesdays and Windsor Town Hall on Thursdays.
County Clerk Joseph Mihalko says all locations will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a lunch break at 11:30 to noon.
The offices will start final transactions at 12:45 p.m. in order to get them processed by closing.
Satellite offices are open to walk-ins only.
Satellite offices offer many of the services as the full D-M-V offices in Binghamton and Endicott but not all those services. Satellite locations can process fines, standard license renewals, vehicle registrations, license amendments, standard identification cards, titles, duplicate titles, DRAs and abstracts but more complicated business should be taken to the main offices.
