The Binghamton Bearcats hosted Maine January 10 at the Events Center in women's basketball.

BU was 1-1 after dropping a road contest in Hartford.  The Catamounts were 0-2 in American East play.  Earlier, the Bearcats won their conference home opener by a 65-64 final over UMass Lowell.

Binghamton is paced by two standout freshmen guards in Jasmine Sina and Imani Watkins.  They have each won America East honors three times and are averaging in double figures.

Along with the Sina and Watkins Binghamton has been getting outstanding production from junior guard Kim Albrecht and senior forward Sherae Swinson.  Swinson is averaging 11.1 points per and Albrecht is putting up 10.7 points per outing.

Tim Heiman calls the play by play action from courtside for all women's games.
