Binghamton Woman Accsued of Snowblower Theft
A Binghamton woman is accused of stealing a snow blower from a Town of Union business.
Broome County Sheriff's Officials say they were informed that two people were pushing a snow blower behind a building off of Main Street in Westover. Deputy Jan Cower has reported that he found the two people and the snowblower which still had store tags attached to it.
35-year-old Summer Reynolds is accused of stealing the machine earlier in the evening and attempting to return it a short time later for a cash refund. The store refused to accept the snow blower because Reynolds did not have a receipt.
Authorities say the woman had a friend helping her.
Reynolds is charged with possession of stolen property. Her friend was not charged.
