Binghamton University Pricewaterhouse Coopers scholars have taken on installing a jungle gym for toddlers at the Walnut Street, Binghamton Park.

$20,000 was raised by the honor students to purchase the equipment and additional items like paint and flowers to spruce up the West Side park.

Over 150 volunteers signed up to tackle the project. In addition to the students, members of the Safe Streets program and residents pitched in.

Pricewaterhouse Coopers Scholars is an honors program within the B.U. School of Management.  There are about 140 local members who participate in a variety of activities throughout the year, including several community service projects.
