Sections of several streets on Binghamton's West Side are being milled and repaved.

On Tuesday, a heavily-traveled portion of Jarvis Street between Main Street and Clinton Street was resurfaced.

Milling operations Thursday are expected to close Matthews Street between Leroy and Harrison streets. Brevity Court also is scheduled to be out of service for milling on Thursday.

On Friday, Laurel Avenue between Seminary and Lincoln avenues is to be closed for paving.

City officials say all milling and paving work schedules could change because of weather conditions or material availability.

Street work schedules are posted on the city's website.
