Binghamton's milling and paving program has shifted to sections of downtown streets.

Milling on Friday was done on State Street between Court and Henry streets, just south of the Binghamton Federal Building.

City officials say milling is planned on Monday on Henry Street between Chenango and Fayette.

On Tuesday, milling work is scheduled on Chenango Street from Henry to Lewis streets. Also Tuesday, milling is planned for Carroll Street between Henry and Court.

Traffic will be detoured around work zones while milling is underway.

Vehicles should be removed from affected areas by six o'clock on the appropriate morning.

If the work isn't finished on the scheduled day, city officials say it will be completed the following day.
