After dropping the series opener on Friday night the Binghamton Mets ripped the Erie SeaWolves last night in Erie 9-3.

.  Cory Mazzoni went seven innings and gave up three runs on five hits to earn his second win of the season. He struck out nine SeaWolves along the way.

Kai Gronauer blasted a home run for Binghamton while Jayce Boyd had three hits and drove in three runs to pace the B-Mets' offense.  Binghamton racked-up 16 hits in the victory.  The win evens the series at 1-1.  Game three is set for Sunday afternoon at 1:35 (air at 1:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF with Tim Heiman).

With the victory Binghamton is 4.5 games behind the Portland Sea Dogs in the fight for first place in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.  Binghamton's record moves to 56-38 while Erie drops to 44-50.
