The Binghamton Mets topped the New Britain Rock Cats this afternoon 7-3 at NYSEG Stadium.  With today's victory the B-Mets snapped a four-game losing streak and avoided a series sweep by New Britain.

The game went back and forth until the home half of the eighth inning.  Kyle Johnson doubled to left-center field and Rylan Sandoval followed with an RBI single to break a 3-3 deadlock. The B-Mets followed that run with three more to put Binghamton in the lead by four.

Cody Satterwhite earned the win in relief to up his record to 3-1.  Cole Johnson was charged with the loss dropping his record to 0-3.

The B-Mets are now 32-29 and travel to Akron for a five-game series against the RubberDucks.  Hansel Robles is the scheduled B-Mets starter.  Start time is 7:05 tomorrow night with air at 6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
