Binghamton Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Conduct Against Child
A Binghamton man will spend 15 years in New York State Prison after admitting he had sexual contact with a child under the age of 13.
The Broome County District Attorney’s Office says Charles Airwyke pleaded guilty to felony count of sexual conduct against a child.
Prosecutors say between 2017 and 2019, Airwyke sexually assaulted the child. Senior Assistant District Attorney Christopher Ganz said the “victim’s childhood was stolen” by Airwyke.
In addition to 15 years in prison, Airwyke will be sentenced to 20 years post-release supervision and be required to file as a sex offender.
